wow… this author deserves a smooch. 
while the war is a big part of this book it’s more about the inner turmoil that ky goes through that’s important. that’s the war. 
her coming to terms with knowing the person that brought her nothing but pain is dead and she’s the one that did it. (feel like it’s not a spoiler that she absolutely demolishes malakai lol) 
there’s a lot of good moments in this book. i thoroughly enjoyed it. from the fights, to the scene that had be bawling like a baby
