This book was a very nice read. It reads as a children's book filled with magic and silliness, and yet it presents complex themes worth examining further. I found myself going through the text faster than I would have though, captive to the story. 

As I read, I kept thinking this book had a Harry Potter feel to it, or rather how Harry Potter should have been, at least in some ways.
