Lowcountry Punch by Benjamin Blackmore

5.0

Because I am an honest person I'm going to start this review by admitting the following two facts: 1) I NEED more T.A. Reddick and 2) I think I actually have a bit of a crush on T.A. Reddick. Okay I did lie, I have a huge crush on him. From the very first chapter I felt like he was sitting in my living room, in all his rugged handsomeness, telling me this story. Boo Walker has created a exciting, action packed novel that has me wanting to re-read it right now!

DEA Agent T.A. Reddick seems to have the worst luck. All in one day he looses the love of his life and shoots his best friend in a drug bust. Not to mention it is Christmas eve and his best bud was also a cop. Thinking he needs a change of scenery, he heads to Charleston, where he lives next door to the ex's parents. After witnessing a mother shot in a bank and her little child taken by a junkie, T.A. sets into motion a chain of events that will all come back to haunt him. Enter said worst luck... again. With something to prove, T.A. takes on what could possibly be one of the biggest drug busts of his career. Who knew there actually was truth in the lyrics "It's a small world after all..."

A new woman who quickly steals his heart, old family money, cocaine, a Hollywood starlett, and old love, and a hurricane round out this epic tale. Awesome, just - plain - awesome! Lowcountry Punch by Boo Walker is not only worth your money but also every dime you spent to purchase this novel. I hope to see more out of Boo very soon, and more novels featuring Agent T.A. Reddick!
