Urgh. I liked Morgan because she wasn’t a stupid and whiny FMC. She was powerful, had potential to grow into herself, and bounced back from her mistakes.

In this book she made all the wrong calls, was whiny as hell and once she made a decision about someone she wouldn’t let anyone tell her otherwise. She was so unbelievably hot and cold and immature. Her character development seems to backwards and then stall. She’s 21 or so years old and her number one come back is “I hate you” a handful of different times? She lacks so much depth.

I also found the pacing of this book to be all over the place. In 400 some odd pages, the book didn’t progress much, in my opinion.

I’ll keep reading the series because I enjoyed the first one, the author writes well, and the reviews seem to indicate the next one is more similar to the first book.
