The Arrangement by Kiersten Modglin

5.0

my. oh. my. kmod got me AGAIN. i knew she excelled in mystery and suspense, but good Lord I did not expect this!

the beginning of the book was already off to a wild start, ainsley and peter decided to make some sort of “arrangement” to fix their marriage. and if you can’t guess what kind it is…then go read to find out. anyway, i’m not married nor have i ever been to know what solves martial problems but i would think open communication? some honesty??? but these 2 knew nothing of the sort UNTIL their arrangement. i was really rooting for them cause HELLO? who doesn’t love a happy romance? i know i do

kmod knows how to write and illustrate page turners, every sentence, every word, every scene makes you want more, makes you want ANSWERS. by the time you think you finally got them, she introduces an imploding element and it shakes you to ur damn core! it’s like removing one layer; thinking yes i’ve got it! then another layer unexpectedly presents itself. sigh, for my final thoughts: the greenburgs need seveeere help or ⛓ time, i dunno. my anxiety levels were off the charts reading this but i enjoyed it…i kept squealing out of fear and excitement. definitely reading the other books in the series!
