So, I’m coming at this from the angle of just watching the TV adaptation. I loved it so very much and reading the book was a sweet prolonging of the world I’d got lost in. I imagine if I’d read the book before the show I wouldn’t have rated it so highly but now I can’t untangle the two and I love them very much.
