Loved the banter and the spice. Lost a star because I can’t stand a man that whines about not being able to give someone love but are doing all of the things that someone in love would do. Additionally, my anxiety was through the roof when shit hit the fan in the last act. I honestly don’t know if the ending satisfies me even with all these promises of devotion. If I were King, doubt would continue quietly to linger in our happily ever after. I would need Sophie to do something to make it completely undeniable that she is trustworthy and means what she says.
