i don't have the words to adequately describe how this book made me feel. it is breathtaking - so interestingly written, so cleverly pieced together with a looming sense of collision. phenomenal world building and character development, so intricate and well-crafted.

i can see why this isn't for everyone as it is quite different from traditional fantasy novels and tropes, but boy oh boy it is for me for that exact reason
