I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

5.0

This book is absolutely amazing! It is relatable, cathartic, funny, triggering, upsetting, inspiring, and important. This book is for anyone who has had a complex relationship with family, with partners, with food, with their identity, but particularly their mother. It is also for anyone who wants to know more about Jennette McCurdy, Nickelodeon and the life of a child star. This is the best book I’ve read in a while. I love it. And omg the audiobook performance by Jennette, absolutely captivating and moved me to tears, I know I don’t know Jennette but god am I proud of her. Terrific read.
