honestly i would rate it 3.5 instead of 3 stars solely for the post-script after the acknowledgements but considering this is not part of the actual book i'm rounding down for now.

i did like it! i disliked a few parts of it

like the way she went way out of her way to explain why it was ok for her to have sex with her teenage crush or whatever, and also maybe I am misremembering but i swear earlier in the book it says that he's 18 on her 16th birthday, but then later says they're only a couple weeks apart in age?? did i misread this??

but i liked it on the whole and liked the story she was trying to tell. the time travel media references also made sense in context and didn't feel shoehorned in or like she was looking at the camera like Hey Remember Back To The Future You Liked That Movie Right which i am so exhausted by
