Shadow & Mera: They Complimented Each Other Perfectly, I Need More! 5 Stars!

This is a book that I must have scrolled by numerous times before deciding to add it to my TBR Pile. Well, time arrived for me to read it and I'm kicking myself that I just didn't bump this goodie up on the list and read it sooner.

Mera is the pack outcast after her father went against the Alpha and tried to end him. She is constantly bullied and ridiculed by the other pack members and to make matters worse, after her first shift, her true mate rejects her in front of the entire pack. Sucks to be here. In a moment of mock sarcasm, she calls on the name of the Shadow Beast, a name that should never be taken in vain. Lo and behold, who appears but the Beast himself. He snatches Mera and the two soon enter on a quest to right a wrong only Mera can.

I loved this book and read it in a little over a day! Mera's sarcasm and Shadow's stoic mood complimented each other and made them both a very interesting couple. They had such great chemistry. The side characters were very interesting, and I want to know more about them and mystery surrounding Mera's origin. I can't wait to read the next book! Highly recommended!
