why does klein always give such depressing short stories :(but seriously, it's such a fascinating investigation of how to academically examine that which cannot be quantized or quantified and must forever remain abstract. how can you compare the Holocaust to the plight of the Rohingya, or refugees from Latin America to those from Syria? how can you compare the incomprehensible, infinite pain they must undergo every day? and faced with the sheer, unbridled screams that echo around the world, how can i, being privileged to live in a first-world country, ever continue to live?also, screw klein for making me sound just like him.
