these are all really good books. really solid worldbuilding and i like the way she spread it across all three

the ending was

both predictable and not. not in a bad way. like part of the last book and this entire book you could see where it was going to lead and dreading where it was going to lead but knowing there was no other way it could end. again not in a bad way!!! this makes it seem bad but it was really tense in an effective way.

anyway good book though i don't know if i would recommend it to everyone, the writing style i like but takes some getting used to and there's some stuff* that might put you off the books 15 pages into the first one

*not like morally objectionable stuff, just things that might hit you really hard that also tell you what the tone of the books will be. i almost didn't keep going though i'm glad i did. thanks amanda for the rec ages ago!!
