I got to know this book through a short article in The New Yorker: "Coffee, with a Side of Deadline Hectoring" by Ann Tashi Slater (December 26, 2022). The cafe owner said he got the idea of this co-working cafe from Kenji Miyazawa's short story "The Restaurant of Many Orders."
This book is filled with 24 short stories by Miyazawa including "The Restaurant of Many Orders," and they are all amazingly weird and interesting. The stories mostly feel like fairy tales. The length (a few pages) of each story is perfect for a read before bed time. The characters can't be more diverse encompassing humans, animals, animated objects, and spirits. I recommend it if you are seeking time away from fast-paced Shorts and Reels. These stories will keep you captivated on a magical land in its soothing pace.
