A loveable rake, a quirky not-really-a-governess, and two hilariously strange young girls - that is what makes up this cute historical romance.
Chase is dreading the moment he will become duke, and to top it off, he has become the guardian for two young girls who have lost their parents. Waking up to a funeral for a doll every morning was not his idea of a good time.
Alex (probably my favorite of the friend group) finds herself with a new job as a governess after an unexpected incident leaves her unable to continue setting time for the community. The problem is, she has no idea what she’s doing.
Daisy and Rosamund are rather unconventional and prove to be a handful for Chase and Alex. Their crazy antics were probably the best part of the book. (RIP Millicent)
I hope we get to see more of everyone throughout the last two books.
