I understand to an extent the literary and culturally disruptive point of this book, however I just don’t find its existence necessary... like a whole book about a pedophile just to make a satiric point? Nah. Creepy! Nabokov’s writing is exquisite, at least. I read the whole thing thinking there would be some greater point or humor, but alas.
