oh my lanta - I LOVED THIS it was SO much fun and really left me on the edge of my seat so many times! Just when you thought the plot couldn’t thicken behind the story, a new (almost too convenient) piece entered. Add a bit of relentless sass, a found family, and more mystery sleuthin’ and you’ve got this gem of a book!

I do think there were moments where I would roll my eyes or wished that our main character August would just take a minute and step back from her own mind and emotions, bur alas, that’s who she is. I loved uncovering Jane’s story and hearing every new bit of information turned into something bigger was so much fun.

There were multiple times where I had chills running ALL over my body, and nights where I couldn’t sleep because I needed to know what happened. I haven’t had a book put me through this in a minute, so I really did enjoy this experience so much more than I thought I was going to!
