I tried for the second time around and I couldn't do it. I got a little bit farer than the first time but I still was struggling to get that far. I just don't like Nyx as a character at all cause she's honestly boring and whiny at the same time. Her going back and forth from hating to loving her sister over and over again is worser than watching a tennis match volley. Don't get me started with this supposed to be love triangle with Ignifex and his shadow,shade. Ignifex is the only interesting character in the book since he supposed to be evil but even he couldn't keep my interest in this book. If you want to read retelling of Beauty and the Beast mixed with Hades and Persephone, read the A Court of Thorns of Roses Series instead.

I can't finish this book.I can not. I've read fanfiction better than this. This is a let down since I love Beauty and the Beast retellings.
