The Versions of Us by Laura Barnett
5.0
To those who found this book hard to follow. I pity you. You have missed out on one of the most beautiful, real, emotional stories I have ever read.
I know the premise isn't new. We all have seen, or at least heard of, Sliding Doors, but Laura Barnett brings Jim and Eva to life in such a way to make me love them (and hate them, when they deserve it). I root for their love, in every version. They are meant to be and they get there, in the end. In every end. I cried for the last 4 chapters. Horrible, gurgling, screwed-up face crying, for people what aren't real, because I cared for them.
Well done Laura. I am a hard nut to crack.
P.S. The book is also very well wrote which helps :)
