Sooo freakin cute! There’s simply no dull moment in this book. It was so much fun reading from Jenny’s perspective and learning about idol culture. What I loved most about it were the vivid descriptions of Seoul and Korean foods (lots of them). When the characters speak, it’s as if I can hear them straight out of a k-drama. It’s very cliché and cheesy at times, but very entertaining nonetheless. I was craving for a fast-paced, feel-good book and I got it.
“. . .people do strange things to protect their hearts. But when you’re afraid, your heart is closed, and it’s never the right time, but when your heart is open, and you’re willing to be brave enough to take a chance, the time is always right.”

One thing I noticed while reading this book was how easily women are belittled and called "sluts" or "bitch" if they do so much as get involved with male idols; how people are so quick to judge them, hate them, then blame them over issues they have very little control over. What’s even sadder is that this happens in reality, and sometimes it shocks me to see that it’s also women who do this to other women. *sighs* what a world we live in.

P.S. I’m eating instant ramyun and gimbap after this.
