The Glittering Court by Richelle Mead

5.0

At first I didn't really know what to expect from this book - the plot didn't seem so interesting and I knew how it will end only by reading the description of the book. But after I deeply sank into it, it all captured me and didn't let go. That's also thanks to the mature style of Richelle Mead's writing.
The main heroin was quite interesting. She also wasn't too flawed or too perfect. Same goes for THE guy (by that I mean Cerdic, of course). I also enjoyed the mystery that was around "Adelaide's" friends and because of that I'm seriously thinking about reading the next novel [b: Midnight Jewel|29621|Midnight Jewels|Jayne Ann Krentz|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1387663981s/29621.jpg|30057] and maybe even the one after that.
The only think that bothered me a bit was how quickly the author went through the book. I'm pretty sure it would be fantastic if this first book was made as a triology!!!
