The German House by Annette Hess
4.0
I wasn't familiar with the historical events this book was built around before, and I'm glad to have read it as it sparked my interest in them.
I think the story was really interesting, and I really liked that the book had multiple storylines as it was intriguing to hear about the same events from different sets of eyes.
I can't talk much about how it was written, as I wasn't impressed by the translation cause it made it a bit hard to get lost in the story. But at the same time I've read far worse translations, so I found my way through it.
Overall, I enjoyed the book, and I would definitely read Hess' writing in the future as well.
