After reading this book I am not sure what the story was really trying to do. It is very difficult to get lost in the story of the book because of the long winded lectures on the history of the Catholic Church and early chrisitanity. Not only that parts of the book seem to be stuck in like he had to put them in the book even though they don't really fit. Overall this book has been disappointing.
