Did not finish book. Stopped at 15%.
I was excited about the concept of this book, but the main character is written in such a robotic voice it really took me out of the story. I understand he is still coming to terms with the idea that his whole world is not what he thought it was, but I went from this to Wool by Hugh Howey and a similar concept is handled so much better in that book. When your character is hopelessly naive to the point of frustrating not only other characters but the reader, it may be time to reconsider your writing style. I got to chapter 7. I could maybe give it another chance, in case the writing gets better later on. But it felt like the writing was built into the character's flaws
