While Justice Sleeps tells the harrowing story of conspiracy at the highest levels of American government. Much of the novel is set at the Supreme Court, but the story is more political thriller with a legal backdrop. While I enjoyed the story and the suspense, I thought the plot could've been tighter and more streamlined. It also could've been more suspenseful, since it was unfortunately clear who was good and who evil from the beginning.

There were also some plot points that I found a little extreme, but if you suspend your disbelief it's fun. I thought the chess theme was interesting, but I needed more than my basic chess knowledge to fully appreciate it. Overall it was a fun read, 3.5 Stars.
