This has been in my to be read pile for ages but once I started I couldn't stop. Immediately drawn into the story and the collapse of society post Georgia Flu. I loved how all the characters and their family and friends have a back story and these are told through different timelines and interwoven with the present. I loved how the story and the characters gain familiarity and how you recognise events and objects occurring throughout everyones' story. I so didn't want this story to end where it did, I wanted to see the Travelling Symphony get to that town of lights, I wanted Kirsten to meet up with Jeevan. Captivating, unsettling, thoughtprovoking.
