2.5/5 rounded up. Ugh. My head hurts. I wanted to love this and it could have been so great. If you’re debating on reading it, I’d say give it a try because there’s a lot of people that like it and it definitely has it’s good moments. My ultimate reasoning for the lower rating is the whole “mystery” and outcome just fell flat for me. The whole book didn’t feel like an expedition with a possible murder that went down. Just bummed. I wouldn’t count out this author just yet though.
