The Berenstain Bears' Harvest Festival by Mike Berenstain

5.0

This book has the crackle of fall, the wonder of a hayride, the beauty of a sunset on a farm, and of course the rambunctious Cub Bears that we all know and love!
We join the Bear family as they attend harvest festival with their church at Farmer Ben's farm.
They enjoy pumpkin pie, apple picking, pumpkin picking, hayrides, and of course a big meal! Through all the fun they remember to thank God for all their blessings, and give credit to the great Creator who gave them so much.

The illustrations are beautifully detailed, and full of action and cheerful emotion. We can see the delight on the Bear family's faces as they enjoy all that the autumn season has to offer.

The story flows naturally from each activity, and each member of the Bear family shows their own unique personality through their dialogue and actions.
This story is especially fun to read aloud! The words are crisp and clear, using vivid descriptors for each autumn scene.
