This book was definitely just "ok", the movie is phenomenally better in terms of plot and character description. For a movie (while I love it) that's relatively unrealistic, it was still just much more endearing than the book. Warner's character is so much more sexist towards Elle, and since it takes her practically forever to even call him out on it in the book I was just annoyed. Pretty much everyone at the "law school" is so so sexist and never learns their lesson. Where a lot of books are better than their movies, I think the movie did a good job of improving off the book's story
