Solid conclusion in wrapping everything up for Carter!

I feel like in this book we learn a lot more about Carter and how he truly feels about everything. It was sad to hear his thoughts and how he was in a struggle with himself for wanting to keep his loved ones safe. I feel like this book explained a lot of Carter's damage and how everything really affects him.

I do wish we got to see a bit more of our love interests together and learn more about each other. While there was a decent amount of spice, I do wish there were more conversations between them, especially with what they all just survived. There were a lot of conflicting feelings and thoughts about the next steps, and I do like how we got to see them figure it all out one way or another.

Overall, solid trilogy and easy to read. Glad we got to meet and learn more about Carter.
