I have been SEARCING for an epic, all-consuming, romantsy book for a LONG time (honestly, probably since I finished ACOMAF for the first time) and this book delivered. It is worth every bit of hype it is receiving.
There is not much I hate more than "literary snobbery" and I think all of the reviews I have seen recently about this not being a well-developed fantasy novel is just that and its gross. Fantasy doesn't have to be almost unreadable to the average reader for it to be "good".
FOURTH WING was magical, fun, suspenseful, swoony, and kept me on the edge of my seat. The world-building is easy to understand and the DRAGONS are honestly the best part. There is a cliff-hanger at the end but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting based on past reviews that I've read.
I am SO excited for the success Rebecca Yarros is experiencing with this book and cannot wait to see where this series takes us!
