🌊 Very normalized, LGBT lead and relationships throughout the book. There was no "coming out story", no hardships because of their sexuality, no stereotypes; it just was how it was and that was refreshing.
🌊 Amazing character development in basically every character.
🌊 This is a book every person needs to read. The messages of kindness and acceptance are incredibly relevant to our times, and seeing that through the eyes of not only Linus, but the children, was beautiful.
🌊 Linus's relationship with the kids ebbing and flowing was remarkable and fun to watch progress.
🌊 Incredible imagery throughout.

🌊 It started off pretty slow, which is my only complaint. I want another book about the kids!

🌊 I HONESTLY think everyone should read this book and really immerse themselves in the messages and themes of this book.
