I read the first book like two years ago, so I was a little lost trying to remember what was going on, who was that, why is this important, etc but tbh, I wasn't that much invested on the first book so.. idk, at some point I didn't care.

still, wasn't an awful book. I have to admit it did had turns and plotwists, I thought I could see how things would turn out, and even tho there is nothing very innovating (for as to say) the execution of those points and troupes were nicely done.

I do think this serie differentiate from all the other mafia ones, there's nothing groundbreaking but still, it felt different and I liked it.

I'm not rating it higher because I believe the author made a great job in building the characters and their motivations, than when one of them decides to give up theirs it felt too.. dumb? or idk, they were so convinced and decided and then in one chapter oh it's suddenly solved !! it's like a good and bad thing together lol
