Viv's had enough. She wants a some place to call her own and a career that doesn't come with a bodycount. She cashes everything in and moves to the city with the dream of opening a coffee shop.

This is literary comfort food at its cosiest. Every single character (bar one) is a delight. The story has just enough stakes to hang a plot on. I could see this leading into the next Discworld.
