4/5 stars!! i loved this book a lot.
i especially loved the story itself. i’m always a sucker for rebels and revolutions against corrupt shit lol and i loved katie henry’s writing style!! i found it v easy to get used to and i was able to fully picture almost every part of the book.
the only reason it’s not a 5/5 star rating is bc i found the characters to be... confusing?? that’s the only word i can think of. perhaps inconsistent would work too. i enjoyed the bare basic characteristics of everyone but i thought everyone besides michael and lucy was a bit one-dimensional.
but overall, i am happy w this book and i’m glad i read it!! i have a feeling i’ll be thinking about it for a while.
