Much like the characters in this book, my feelings changed back and forth between love and hate.

What I loved about the book:
The whole idea of Aiden and Zoe being trapped together during the Hurricane and finding comfort in each other.
The family dynamics of the whole Shaughnessy family. I love how they all seem to have their own issues after the death of their mother/wife but when it's time for them to step up and be supportive of each other, they step up.
The fact that both Aiden and Zoe are strong personalities that can survive and thrive on their own but together they just fit is what really made the story work for me.
I love that Zoe wasn't a doormat. She didn't just let Aiden get away with acting like a jerk to her and she didn't silence her opinions of the way he and his family treated their sister.

What I didn't love about the book:
Aiden's strange attitude and insistence that he knows what's best for EVERYONE. The way that he wanted to keep Zoe completely separate from his family and the really crappy way he went about letting her know.
The constant push and pull of the relationship. Every time I thought that Aiden would finally get his head out of his but something would happen and then suddenly the jerky side of Aiden came out in full force.

Overall this was a good, quick read that left me wanting to see each of the Shaughnessy brothers, and sister, get their HEA.
