What drugs were you on, Margaret? That was a fever dream.

Also marketed as "an unforgettable love story" - this ain't a love story. There's no love here. It's possessiveness, emotional abuse, permanently immature EQs, men getting stuck on the idea of a woman and not even seeing the woman as a person, and a heaping serving of serious trigger warnings. There's no way the MC would have an actual love story, so this all is perfectly logical within the book but boy did the marketing team miss the mark.
