The madness you expect with Alice in Wonderland was everything and more in this whimsical retelling!
Trying to keep up with the story and what was what and who was who and what the hell was going on was crazy. Beatrix kept to the story so well that nothing felt as if it were missing or wrong.
The twist that came was not what I expected and was so thrilling I needed to know more. The characters mischievous curious creatures that made you not only intrigued but a bit fearful. Some characteristics were unusual yes but came from a mind of great imagination, turning something already eccentric into something unforeseen.
The spice was perfect! It didn’t feel misplaced or overly done, it was so well matched with the absurdity of it all you had to love it.
This was such a striking piece of work I definitely recommend it, knowing we’re all mad here
