”A refined editor and his chaotic author,”

Let me start by saying, my little paranormal obsessed heart loved the dead romantics so so so much. I loved every detail, from the characters all the way to every minor detail. Gonna talk about this for the next 3-6 months. PREPARE TO BE SICK OF ME. Truly, at one part I actually flung the book at my mattress and I ABSOLUTELY HATED ASHLEY (the author) took a break and sobbed my heart out to Lana’s Summertime Sadness :) and then few more pages in and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED ASHLEY. Safe to say I jump to conclusions horribly fast but my heart is full and happy and I can’t describe it. To feel this way, is amazing. AND CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT THE WONDERFUL REPRESENTATION HERE? DANA , NICKI AND CARVER? SO MUCH LOVE.

Florence. I’ve always loved the name Florence so maybe I’m biased when I say I love Florence. Florence was ACTUALLY different. I resonate in a sense. No, I don’t see ghosts but I always believed people who told me they did. There’s fascination in the unknown I suppose. She’s funny, she’s kind, she’s beautiful and she’s clever. Shes all that and more. I loved Florence.

Benji. Benji. I loved Benji. I ADORED HIM. i love a man who reads romance and a man WHO IS NOT BORDERLINE MISOGYNISTIC. W Benji.

The entire book. The settings. The feeling of home. The feeling of family and Florence’s dad. To grow up around a father who loved your mother, a father that nurtured and stayed around instead of the usual abandonment. That called out to somewhere deep inside of me. I loved Florence’s family. I loved the Dead Romantics and if I could
I would never leave this beautiful world behind. If I could I’d stay in Florence and Benji’s world a lot longer.
