A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Roseanne A. Brown

5.0

A gorgeous story about grief, betrayal, love, and mental health all set to the movement of a magical comet that passes every 50 years. Throw in a little necromancy, political intrigue, and a triwizard-esque competition and you have yourself one of my favorite YA reads of the year, if not ever! The worldbuilding is flawless, the characters are well-rounded and easy to empathize with, and the PLOT!!! The plot kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. I am so happy I saved this book to read right before the release of the final book in this duology bc id be so pissed if I had to wait another year for the conclusion of this epic tale.
