Prepare to cry you entire heart out after reading this book. This book was just trauma, pain and heartbreak in 800 pages. Don’t expect to be happy after this. Yanagihara’s writing is out of this world. Her ability to articulate a feeling or scenario is magnificent. I would gladly slam my fingers against a car door to read this again but I don’t recommend this to anyone at all.
