Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari

4.0

I loved how the book describes the history of the world around, and when sapiens started becoming the massive power. and how these hundreds of informations were well organised and presented in one book.

But I feel since the middle of the book it has become mainly about economics and how they shaped the world we are in right now. Even the science segment became more or less about economics.
Also Yuval talked about something that still confuses me, that people were happier before the agricultural revolution, (which is unsubstantiated), and then attempt to play it off as a fact. There are example of that type of thing all throughout the book, I partly agree with him when it comes to animal rearing but for grain and vegetables honestely they helped sapiens a lot to become what we are now.
