I don't think I'll ever read a Sophie Gonzales book that I don't love. I am truly obsessed with the way that Gonzales writes about sexuality and how you do not have to define your sexuality to others or prove to them that you fit into the box they have created in their mind. She did a truly amazing job at doing this in Pretty on Paper and I was equally impressed with the writing in this book.

The summer fling part really gave me Grease vibes but way more modern! The characters were amazing in this book and I also really liked that for the most part, there weren't huge periods of time where Will and Ollie were not getting along because they weren't communicating. Even throughout the conflicts in this book, they were pretty open at communicating. I also really loved how Ollie had to eventually step back and realize that Will was feeling and perceiving things in a way that Ollie did not expect. Gonzales makes all of her characters so real and dynamic and I just love that so much.

Go Sophie! I'm a stan and will read anything you write <3
