A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
5.0
I don't think i will ever recover from this book. It felt too real, it felt like I've been living with these characters so close in my life. Every suffering, i felt them too. I don't think I've ever cried this hard at any books or movies, not ever. I cried so hard that my head hurts (specifically on the last 100 pages, the most on chapter Dear Comrades) slept for only 3 hrs bcs I'd been crying the whole night after I finished them and didn't even want to eat the next day :')
While i read through, i always imagined James McAvoy as J, Andrew Garfield as W, Jordan Fisher as JB, and Lakeith Stanfield as M. Hands down to the best, most wrenching, unforgettable but no regrets book ever.
P/s: Listening to my playlist and can't help feeling much worse when the lyrics feel exactly like the whole story. Give them a try.
Fix You - Coldplay,
exile - Taylor Swift,
Pluto Projecter - Rex Orange Country,
Brother - Kodaline,
Everything - The Black Skirts,
All I Want - Kodaline,
Space Song - Beach House,
Pergi - Aizat
