Emotional and bittersweet in ways I can’t explain. I was going through such a bad time in my life; I was just so glad that this book was able to bring me into a different world—it’s world. I cried, I laughed, I smiled and chuckled. And it was indirectly informative, I felt. The research that Resau must have had to do was quite astonishing; I enjoyed the writer’s note as much as I enjoyed the actual book. But, what do I really know about Gypsies and Mexican heritage? I just enjoyed the book a lot, and maybe I am biased because of my previous emotional state, but I enjoyed it nonetheless hahaha.
