um so I actually really liked this??

I went in kind of hesitant because I’d been avoiding this book for so long because it just seemed kind of...juvenile to me? idk? and also like,,, Jack the Ripper? been there done that!

BUT I actually really enjoyed this! I thought what Maniscalco did with the character of Jack the Ripper was really cool and I LOVED Audrey rose as a character. I also thought the inclusion of pictures from the time period + her use of the real Ripper letters was really clever and cool!!

I would also DIE for Thomas cresswell!!

anyways 10/10 would recommend, defied my expectations, we’ve decided to stan
