This book exceeded my expectations! I loved the idea using d&d tropes and just really enjoyed the characters. There is a lot going on and a lot of characters so this definitley felt like a setting the stage book in the beginning but after we met most the important people the story really picked up. The ending! I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!
