I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: HFN
POV: dual 1st person POV
spice: several open-door spicy scenes
TWs: none that I noticed!
Kinky Content: anal, frotting, grinding, oral, slight somnophilia
standalone: book 7 of The Franklin U 2 series
final thoughts: this was such an interesting take on fake dating! The drama and tension building up of β€œwhat is real” was so good and had me on the edge of my seat to see how it would play out.
I love Amos being a broody/emo barista and using witty/cutting humor to hide the fact that he’s falling for the golden retriever, popular playboy. Chase used any opportunity to be in Amos’s presence and touching him anyway he could, all while using the TV show as the excuse to cuddle up close and Amos used the same excuse to let Chase into his space. It was adorable but MESSY and I loved seeing them untangle the web of acting
