This is a wonderful look inside Krishnamurti Foundation schools in India. The book is wonderfully structured text that shares insights from students, teachers, and parents as well as Jiddu Krishnamurti's philosophy. All of the things that make these institutions special are shared, albeit in quite an idealized fashion. Although all of the elements of these schools that Prabhu discusses are what drew me to KFI schools as well, I would have enjoyed a more balanced view that includes some of the pitfalls that these schools fall into (speaking as a former teacher at Rishi Valley). That would help other institutions that might want to adopt some of these pedagogies and practices in their future endeavors.
