I had never read this book but it was one of my toddler's library picks since he has developed a liking for the Cat in the Hat. He saw the cat in a cartoon featuring the Grinch whom he also likes very much. We enjoy the rhyming and the bad tricks the cat plays. I look forward to him reading this to me in the next couple years.
